peaq is a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built to power DePINs (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks), enabling real-world applications across mobility, energy, connectivity, agriculture, and more. As a foundational infrastructure for intelligent machines and devices, peaq supports over 25 applications across 11 industries and connects 400,000+ Machine RWAs—from vehicles to robots. With a mission to democratize access to infrastructure in the Age of AI and automation, peaq empowers people worldwide to own, govern, and earn from the systems that shape their daily lives.
Program Overview Peaq operates a formal bug bounty program to support the security and resilience of its decentralized infrastructure. The program invites ethical hackers and security researchers to responsibly disclose vulnerabilities that may impact Peaq’s smart contracts or platform services.
Reward Structure Peaq uses a 4-tier severity model to evaluate submitted vulnerabilities. Reward amounts are based on both the criticality of the issue and the type of target affected, such as smart contracts or frontend systems. Higher-severity findings that pose greater risk to assets or network stability are eligible for correspondingly higher-tier rewards.
Submission Requirements Each submission must include a working proof of concept (PoC) with detailed steps to reproduce the issue and demonstrate impact on an in-scope asset. Submissions based solely on descriptions or without executable code will not be considered for rewards.
Payouts Rewards are denominated in USD and paid in PEAQ, the native token of the Peaq network. All bounty payments are processed by the Peaq team following successful report verification and KYC compliance.
